mUmU have been merrily weaving their way through the spring and summer in Liverpool, now culminating in their annual August bank holiday get together in the beating heart of the Baltic Triangle.

Taking place at Great Baltic Warehouse, they once more curate an on-point techno and house odyssey in the city with two of electronic music’s most revered names, laying deeper their foundations as one of the UK’s most consistent parties. With more plans coming later on in the year and looking ahead to their 10th anniversary next spring, mUmU’s forward-thinking ethos and loyal crowd from across the region and beyond continue to cultivate stellar shows.

DJ and producer Marcel Dettmann is recognised as one of the most influential proponents of contemporary techno, his name synonymous with Berlin, Berghain and Hard Wax. His stellar sets encompass the finest techno and banging Chicago sounds, merging old and new tunes from the past twenty-five years to incredible effect.

And fellow Berghain resident and childhood friend of Marcel, Answer Code Request, joins the party; since his Subway Into EP brought him to the fore, he now continues to reinvent the very music which he plays and produces. It’s heavy duty, rhythmically entrancing material from one of German’s premier techno artists, who brings further textured layers of techno to mUmU.

The club’s resident Lee Rands supports – Lee has been a part of the club since day one, and remains its underpinning and inspiration behind the decks.
