Dutch music industry heavyweights Onno van Kemenade & Paul Hazendonk have joined forces and present their new label Blue Magenta. With Onno being the former A&R manager at Armada Music and nowadays at the helm of his own company Into The Music Management (Songspire Records, Kiksuya Records, Sommersville Records and more), and Paul coming from a background at Basic Beat and nowadays heading the Manual Music company (Manual Music, MNL, Manual Deep and more), the pair of them bring 35 years of joined experience to the table.
With Blue Magenta they aim to release music which is both DJ friendly and suitable for dance floors as well as an enjoyable listening experience on streaming portals.
The first release on the label comes from Germany based Daniel Helmstedt who brings us two breathtaking records. Both ‘Underwater’ and ‘Clouds’ are built around a delightful piano melody which enhance the pulsating bass line and impactful synths stabs. To top it off ‘Underwater’ adds Ben Haydie’s authentic voice which complements the record perfectly. In stores on April 15th.
