German pair Piemont are stalwart producers with tens of EPS and LPs to their name. As well as running their own great labels they appear on the best of the rest on a regular basis and here they get the nod from long standing tech house scene leading label Area Remote.
Up first is Out of the Door, a teasing bit of tech funky with a perfectly undulating groove that bobs up and down and takes you with it. The elastic bassline is key to it all, as is the gentle smattering of trumpet that floats above the drums. Unvoiced is the other jam they serve up, and it’s a playful bit of mid tempo house with neon chords, bobbling synths and well treated vocal snippets all coming over like a sure fire summer anthem in the making. Once again Piemont prove they are up there with the best of them.
