Pioneer DJ announces the launch of the brand-new flagship multiplayer, the CDJ-3000. The newly released model follows in the footsteps of CDJ-2000NX2, the music player of choice for top DJs, and creates new possibilities for what DJs can do and, in turn, how fans can enjoy their music and performances.
Since the debut of the CDJ-500 in 1994 – the world’s first flat-top CD DJ player, each new CDJ model has established itself as the standard set-up for respected DJs and venues around the globe. As music moved from physical vinyl to CD, to digital via USB, the CDJ range has been the driving force behind these culture-defining developments.
The CDJ range has introduced ground-breaking features that have enabled unique performance techniques for DJs, from digital scratching through to management of digital music via rekordbox. By combining the tactile qualities of physical turntable DJing with extensive digital tools, Pioneer DJ paved the way for news styles of DJing, and established the CDJ as a central piece of the club culture landscape.
Using over 25 years of experience and knowledge, Pioneer DJ introduces the next player in that lineage, the CDJ-3000. While the CDJ-3000 is in many ways unrecognisable from its earlier predecessors, it retains the ambition and purpose that have always driven the CDJ range: to provide DJs with an intuitive, great-feeling interface which gives them the power to manipulate music in original new ways.
The CDJ-3000 has been designed to include expansive new features including MPU, which makes it the most advanced DJ player available. The MPU is what drives the unit, enabling the player’s many innovative new features at an advanced speed. A new bigger and higher resolution 9-inch touch screen, with an intuitive user interface displaying the playhead position and reference album artwork, added controls, shortcuts, and preview options enabling effortless and rapid track selection.
The CDJ-3000 is available now at an SRP of £2169, including VAT. Find out more about the new CDJ here.
