Quarters Brighton has announced a monthly series of free clubbing nights. The events, which launched last month with a packed-out ‘Free The Jungle’ takeover featuring scene heavyweights Ed Solo and Benny L, are designed to give clubbers ongoing access to the dancefloor and quality lineups of established DJs and rising talent without the worry of a door fee.
Channelling the free-rave spirit of the late ’80s and early ’90s, Quarters is building an inclusive community at a time when the cost-of-living crisis is forcing many to miss out. Over 4,000 tickets have already been claimed as ravers jump at the chance to gain free access to a world-class venue.
Quarters’ next free rave lands on Friday, 27th March, with a showcase of modern jungle and nostalgic drum & bass. Multi-genre all-female collective Sexy Lady Massive bring the high energy that has seen them command stages at Boomtown and All Points East, alongside old skool and DnB selector Silva Snipa, with some UKG thrown in for good measure.

Next up on Friday 10th April, is ‘Free The Bass’. Globally in-demand headliner Phibes brings their infectious, dancefloor-focused D&B productions, while Sao Paulo’s Jam Thieves serves the upbeat sounds he’s signed to key imprints, including Hospital and Ram. Scene legend Nicky Blackmarket brings decades of authentic underground credibility and connects the free rave programme directly to the foundations of UK rave culture.
The series continues on Friday 8th May with ‘Free The Drums’, welcoming Subsonic, best known for his string of melodic dancefloor bangers on the likes of Crucast and Pilot. Belgium’s jump-up headliner Primate lines up, alongside support from TLB and GAJA, delivering a full-spectrum showcase of contemporary drum and bass energy.
Located on the historic site of The Zap, one of Brighton’s most influential club spaces, Quarters’ free rave initiative invests in the clubbing community and the future of rave culture, ensuring the dancefloor remains open, inclusive and accessible to all.
