Razer’s smart face mask has a built-in A/C system, mic, and speakers

Let’s face it, we have all now got used to wearing masks in our day to day lives now. When we first entered this pandemic most of the masks available were pretty simple. Things have now moved on with all manner of manufacturers stepping up in order to support the provision of PPE, as well as throwing in some nice tech, which we all love.

Razer has announced an innovative N95 mask which has been given the name, ‘Project Hazel’. Enjoy more seamless social interaction with others as they’ll be able to see you speak and pick up on your facial cues easily with the clear transparent design. Razer has even thought about when you are out and about in the dark. The smart mask’s interior lights up automatically when it’s dark, allowing you to express yourself clearly regardless of lighting conditions.

“Face the new normal with protection that’s far from average. Introducing our prototype of the most intelligent mask ever created—a design focusing on five key areas to ensure the highest degree of safety with the best quality of life enhancements.”

When it comes to the most crucial part, the safety, Project Hazel has microbe-filtering features in spades. A pair of rechargeable ventilators bring cool air in while also releasing hot breath produced during exhalation. Plus the battery life is expected to be good enough for usage all day. The unit also includes a wireless charging case for quick top-ups.
