Review – Beachcoma release the impressive Aeromuerto by Undo

Artist: Undo
Title: Aeromuerto
Label: Beachcoma Recordings
Date: 13/11/2015
Genre: Techno

Spanish producer Undo is a producer that is making his second appearance on Beachcoma after his debut release, ‘Floating’ in collaboration with Ryan Davis. This release sees Undo unleash 3 superb, unique, deep techno weapons!

First up on this release is the title track ‘Aeromuerto’ which does not begin life in the shadows. From the off you are presented with a swirling bassline and a kick that would wake the dead! It isn’t long before we once again hear those sounds that make this label what it is and that is one of the finest ethereal techno labels around. The bass and melodies swirl around your mind like a savage wind on a winters day. I can’t even begin to comprehend what this guy does in the studio but it works and it works with savage effect!!! Absolutely incredible track!

The next track, ‘Prophet 8 Profeta 0’ has an almost 80s synth sound to it that just grabs you from the off. Again the mystical sounds of Undo weave in and out of the kicks and bassline in a manner that not many producers can master. The claps are with purpose and the track is finished to perfection with the beautiful warm chords. Another stunning piece of production masterclass here! You can hear an exclusive of this track above…

The final track on the release, ‘Donde Bass’ begins with a dark low end bass and a swirling synth effect before we are hit once again by some delightful warm chords. The hi hats in the track give it a little more pace that keep a wicked tone to the track. The break is filled with an uplifting warmth before you are plummeted once again back into those deep techno grooves. Fine way to finish an incredible release!

Well what can I say… Another superb release on a label that is at the forefront of techno productions! If you like your techno with brains and depth you will love this! Go check it out folks!
