Gregor Treshor’s Break New Soil imprint releases volume number 7 of its Breaking New Soil series which features Patrick Siech, Maxime Dangles, Gregor Treshor & Petar Dundov, and Per Hammar. Each of the tracks are edging more towards the darker techno territory, as you might expect so lets not mess about and delve inside!

Te first track on the release is “Return” by Patrick Siech which is one of those acid based 303 tracks that just builds, and would easily force any crowd into some heads down stomping and shape throwing. A superb way to open this pack!

Next up is “BBA” by Maxime Dangles and as you might expect this is some groove laden techno that is filled with some sublime percussion and other worldly effects and sounds. I have been a fan of this mans work for some time, as many of you out there have also! As the track builds you are presented with some great double claps, and some pretty savage cymbal rides. One for those dark intimate techno rooms!

The third track on the release is by Gregor himself and Petar Dundov who is a producer that blows me away each time I hear his fusion of techno and progressive. This release follows on from the pairs last release, “Taurus” and is a great melodic journey that never strays too far away from those techno grooves and percussion. If you are a fan of Petar’s work you will love this, and you will melt when you hear those sublime key changes!

The final track on the release is called “Cloaker” and is by Per Hammar. The track is perfect for a techno opening track, as it begins with its almost ethereal sounds and effects before you are catapulted into life with that awesome kick! The track quickly builds and has an almost Hardfloor sounding 303 arrangement that just gets you where it hurts. Incredible track, and a great way to close this amazing package of techno!
