Toronto based Beat Syndrome AKA Hamed Safi has appeared on many well known progressive labels such as Sudbeat, Mooseekaa, Nettwerk Label, Sound Avenue and Baroque. This pack also features a remix by Lonya and Maydan which we shall cover later, as it is worth the wait!

First up on the release is the original by Beat Syndrome which begins with a delightful arrangement of warm pads with some sprinkles of delightful keys over the top. The percussion is superbly arranged and the whole feel is very uplifting. It takes until about the 3 minute before the bass kicks in, and trust me when I say it is worth the wait! Great low end but not too much as to over power the track; it is just enough to keep all the track tight, uplifting, with a slight funk to it. The track builds to a crescendo about the 5 minute mark before all breaks, and then slowly breaks down to where the track began. All in all a very well constructed progressive number.

Next up we have a remix by Maydan and Lonya who are well known for there residencies at the infamous Cat & Dog club in Tel Aviv. This is the pairs first collaboration together on their label and what a track this is! The track begins out as a melodic intro number that is perfect for those peak time set starters. The track soon kicks in with an infused low end with the continuation of those sublime keys and pads that create a warmth and uplifting vibe. After the first break the pair choose to reduce things before building the track slowly with some ethereal sounds and intricate percussion. The track creates a sublime hypnotic soundscape that would bring any progressive dance floor to it’s feet. A remix that really does capture all the original elements but then projects them to another level! Hats off guys, awesome work here!!!

Simple summary on this one really… Great release that features a superb original version and a remix that does all that remix should do. Go buy now!
