Review by Brett Gould

Tenampa Recordings come back with a fresh face to the scene, although house music is a family trend. Stelio is brother to one of the new wave and exciting talents that Greece are producing right now. Yes, Nikola Gala.

The E.P has 3 tracks on it all with a slight feel and take on techno and house. The first track ‘Body Rock’ is a beautiful deep tech house track that uses the drums as the main element and creates a nice tribal groove. The pads and chopped vocal just do enough to keep bopping you along.

Second up is ‘Love and Sound’ which again is absolute quality. It’s deep and hypnotic. The drums are jacking and the little synth sounds do everything to get into your brain. My pick of the E.P

3rd up is ‘Stab Tech’. It’s more peak time than the previous tracks ‘but’ I would say is that its over 12 minutes long. Besides this it has all the elements to become a huge techno favourite. In-fact I changed my mind whilst writing this write up to say… It is a really clever tune. It does exactly what is says on the tin. It has peaks and troffs. It builds fantastically well and when the top end comes in your rocking! I will leave it up to you on the time debate.

The support on this isn’t bad either. Dubfire, Richie Hawtin and Laurent Garnier to name a few. I see big things ahead for Stelio.
