James Zabiela heads to Middlesbrough for a Born Electric showcase with a difference

Riffraff present James Zabiela
3rd September 2016
Medicine Bar

Teesside’s 12 years strong underground music event Riffraff brings influential record label Born Electric to showcase music at the Medicine Bar on September 3rd. Label owners James Zabiela and the mysterious Mouj are taking to the decks in the dark dungeon spinning an exclusive vinyl set that James is eager to play. Don’t worry though, Zabiela will be showing off his digital skills as well as analogue to keep all the technologists happy, so this party will have the best of both worlds.

James Zabiela is a rare breed of artist. Over the last 12 years he has become something of a heritage act despite still being 2 decades younger than his peers currently sharing that title; this, in part, is owing to his unrivalled technical abilities in his live performance which have cemented him into the hearts of electronic music lovers the world over.

Joining Born Electric is Zoo Project resident DJ Lee Pennington with his *riffraff brothers Milhouse and Philip Stirzaker. Room 2 boasts a headline act with Soma Records boy Hall North accompanied by Sean Peacock and Will Smith.
