Sascha Sonido takes us on a deep and spacey journey on the excellent Kittball Records

Artist: Sascha Sonido
Title: Turn Down For What
Label: Kittball Records
Release: 18th November 2016
Genre: Tech House, Deep House

After seeing some huge releases this year by artists such as Purple Disco Machine, Tube & Berger, AFFKT and more, Kittball Records welcomes German DJ and producer, Sascha Sonido to the family with ‘Turn Down For What’. Sascha’s last releases have been on labels such as Lapsus, Toolroom and Natura Viva, and they have moved in a versatile yet quite tech housey direction. On Kittball, he now brings us a beautiful title track showcasing a new deep and captivating side. This time we get a track with dreamy vocals and strong melodic synth elements combined with subtle percussions. Sonido carries the listeners into his own world of sounds, delivering a tune that is anticipated to be heard a lot over the coming months.

In addition to the original track, we have a tight remix by Swiss producer, Definition. Here the spacey feeling in the track is intensified, making the groove foundation a little bit rougher with a hint of trance melting around it. Carrying towards a momentum of big synths the final moment takes an explosive form where everything comes together in a big bang. The EP is a felicitous two tracker with nice diversity track-wise and a great addition the Kittball release portfolio, bringing the listeners solid options to fit certain moments and moods.
