Sebastian Busto is a bit of a legend

Artist : Sebastian Busto
Title : Legends EP
Label : PHW Elements
Release : Out Now
Genre : Progressive House

Argentina based DJ/Producer Sebastian Busto returns to PHW Elements with two new original pieces of work this New Year that screams to be heard, this latest EP from him picks up a new game and makes good work off things titled – “Legends”.

The title track is a sluggish chugger. The warm caress of atmospheric sheen snaking around peek-a-boo vocals, thriving cause of that crunchy bass, silvery synths and a flurry of wobbly exteriors speak of soulful production ethics.

The package invites Alex Vidal to formulate the lone remix for the previous original cut, and he steers his remix work with a punchy rush of bass line, the vocalism provides the melodic element to a nicety and between the plings and tinkles, this one’s a close cousin.

“Book of Water” the second track in the release makes the second half unarguably stronger where Busto allows himself a bit more breathing room for expansive electronics. The track invokes a plethora of emotions in you. It encapsulates a dreamy landscape and a tug on the heartstrings even though the kick drum is fascinatingly bold, and the tingles and much busy interiors keep you hooked on to fantasize about what can be.

This one gets a Smokeless Soul remake, a tidy pleasant version with organ like bass line tumbling along the way meeting gurgling streams, metallic melodics and that all too familiar nostalgia of the rest of the EP, hitting you once again and that which doesn’t sound out of place in this release.
