With less than 3 weeks to go, tickets are now running low for Seth Troxler’s Acid Future event at Tobacco Dock on Saturday 8th August with limited standard and VIP options still available. Designed to pay homage to London’s acid house history whilst looking forward to the genre’s modern manifestation, Seth will be joined by Tuskegee co-founders The Martinez Brothers, as well as genre innovators DJ Harvey, Jackmaster, Marshall Jefferson, Skream, Danny Rampling and many more – all topped off by a rooftop BBQ provided by Smokey Tails.
Renowned for their show-stopping event series that take place in London’s historic, grade one-listed Tobacco Dock, event promoters London Warehouse Events have transformed the unique event space in recent years. Having welcomed a host of leading electronic acts like Richie Hawtin as well as event headliners The Martinez Brothers for their iconic New Years Day party, Tobacco Dock is a must-see clubbing venue. Since it was built in 1812, the venue been used as a shopping centre, a warehouse for rum, wine, wool and furs and even a military barracks – with event host Seth Troxler therefore a perfect fit for his explorative Acid Future party.
As well as providing an array of forward-thinking artists that embody the spirit of acid house in 2015, Acid Future will also feature Seth’s legendary Smokey Tails brand on the event rooftop. Set to offer the best in smoked meats and unique, one-of-a-kind cocktails, Seth will be serving up the food himself amidst a backdrop of stunning city views and summer sunshine. With tickets now running low, VIP options are also still available and will provide party-goers with fast track entry, chill out areas, an exclusive champagne bar and luxury toilets.
Seth explains: ‘I grew up in Detroit and have been smoking and barbecuing in between spinning records and producing for years – my dream has always been to open a restaurant bar. Smokey Tails has finally given me the outlet for my other great passion that is cooking.’
Born in 2013, Smokey Tails provided exquisite smoked meats, sublime salads, knock-out frozen cocktails, independent guest ales and mighty fine desserts to Hackney Wick all summer long. Since then Smokey Tails has toured around a number of festivals including Lovebox and the Australian Future Music Tour and will be present at a number of other events this summer.
