Snowbombing has announced the first wave of artists for its 2027 return. The festival heads back to Mayrhofen in the Austrian Alps for six days of electronic music, skiing and après.

Leading the opening announcement, Bicep Live and Fatboy Slim share joint headline duties. Bicep arrive fresh from touring their Chroma A/V show and a sold out night at the Royal Albert Hall in November, and will bring new material from their forthcoming album to the mountains. Fatboy Slim returns with the sort of high energy headline set that has kept him a fixture on the festival circuit for years.

Also confirmed in the first wave is Rossi., the UK house DJ whose groove led sets have made him a regular booking across the international circuit. More names are still to come across multiple stages and genres.

Beyond the line up, Snowbombing turns Mayrhofen into a week of parties in unusual settings, from forest clearings and mountain restaurants to a pop up rave in a butcher’s shop and terraces with a view across the Alps. There is also a programme of wellness and adventure running alongside the music, taking in mountaintop brunches, yoga above the treeline, spa sessions, comedy and themed parties.

The resort itself carries more than 600km of ski terrain, from beginner runs to the Harakiri, Austria’s steepest piste. Whether you ski, snowboard or simply want the mountain air, the festival covers most bases.

Snowbombing runs from 5 to 10 April 2027. Demand tends to be steady, so early sign up is worth considering. Accommodation and lift passes can be held with a £50 deposit, with full packages starting at £529 per person. Buying a lift pass alongside a ticket currently saves up to €150 against resort prices.
