Sommerøya festival announces new vinyl only label and first EP

Sommerøya, the leading open-air festival for club music in the Northern countries start its own label, Sommerøya Records. The annual festival takes place by the seashore of Oslo with dedication, decoration and a steady stream of major acts combined with passionate locals artists playing for enthusiastic crowds. The newly founded Sommerøya Records naturally only sign Northern artists and as a curiosity, all signed names must play at the festival!

The first release is a «various artist» EP, with tracks by Skatebård (NO), Bjørn Svin (DK), Christian Tilt (NO) and Fredrik Bekkaasen (NO). The EP spreads wide in genres, from easy listening to more spaced out and hypnotic tracks. The release date is set to 25th of September 2017 and has a worldwide distribution by Juno Records.

The EP is limited to 500 copies and the label has a no repress philosophy.
