Following on from the chart-topping, Radio 1 supported ‘Do It Like This’ on Solotoko, Biscits has been snapped up by label boss Sonny Fodera for a brand new collab EP on the esteemed imprint. Sure to send listeners into a clubbing frenzy, the pair gets set to release the Insane EP.
Featuring two killer tracks – ‘Insane’ and ‘Crazy Things At Night’, this double-header is packed with enough energy to get any dancefloor moving. Insane unleashes a relentless groove, with compelling breakdowns and a hypnotic vocal. Meanwhile, ‘Crazy Things At Night’ propels the EP into orbit with club-ready whispers, pulsating synths, and a jacking bassline.
With a meteoric rise over the past few years, Sonny Fodera continues to thrive at the top of his craft in an ever-growing pool of underground talent, working with the likes of Green Velvet, Bontan and Doorly as well as Chicago house staples Dajae and Gene Farris. Also having releases on the likes of Dirtybird and Defected in the Beatport top 10 chart as well as Moving Up with MANT on his own label landing the no.5 spot, Sonny Fodera is very much shaping the landscape for fans and DJs alike. Following on from 2018 belter Somebody New that climbed to no.11 on the Beatport charts, the Insane EP releases ahead of Sonny Fodera’s headline show at Brixton Electric featuring Biscits on support duties.
Biscits’ deft productions have been bubbling away for a while now, with his records making their way into the collections of BBC Radio 1’s MistaJam, Pete Tong, Danny Howard, Claude Von Stroke, Gorgon City, TCTS, and Idris Elba to name a few. Now established as one of the most exciting artists to emerge on the scene, his recent release Do It Like This reached an impressive no.2 spot on the Beatport chart last year. With a string of big tastemaker support already under his belt and a unique sound growing increasingly recognisable, 2019 sees Biscits gear up for the Insane EP with Sonny Fodera in the next phase of his snowballing music career.
Sonny Fodera & Biscits’ Insane EP is out now via Solotoko.
