A scintillating fourth edition of Soundclash Festival is taking place at Somerley House on Saturday October 1st and the exciting final names can now be revealed. With stage breakdowns also unveiled, Soundclash 2016 promises to be a unique occasion that offers world class DJs from a number of different genres all presented on four state-of-the-art stages with next level light, sound and visuals in a stunning location.
The main headliners include vital drum & bass artist Andy C, house icon and Paradise at DC10 star Jamie Jones, long-standing hit makers Groove Armada and DnB sensations Pendulum. They all play in the magical grounds of Somerley House a stunning setting within the sprawling green grounds and lush gardens of an 18th-century Estate. As well as this picturesque landscape of natural beauty the grounds are close to London, 10 minutes from Bournemouth and 20 minutes from Southampton.
Offering the best in house and techno and bass from DJ headliners from around the globe, Soundclash boats peerless sound and production and once again will bring Southampton and Bournemouth together. In all, there will be 75 DJs across four stages with a fine VIP tent, plus fun fair rides, lasers and LEDs to blow your minds and a meaty Funktion 1 to serve up the sounds.
As for stage breakdowns, Groove Armada headline the Main Stage with stars like Radio 1’s MistaJam, crossover act DJ Fresh, plus Majestic and garage revivalist Artful Dodger all doing they’re do. Then DnB legend Andy C presents his own stage which also features Australian stars Pendulum, Wilkinson, Culture Shock and North Base. The Switch Stage then offers up Hot Creations label boss Jamie Jones, Do Not Sleep resident and label artist Darius Syrossian, Glaswegian Numbers man and acclaimed DJ party starter Jackmaster playing back to back with Phonox resident Jasper James. Finally Halo Presents in demand French house act Amine Edge & DANCE, chart topper Low Steppa, The Streets frontman Mike Skinner, Camelphat and more.
