SoundID Reference calibrates your speakers and headphones

Sonarworks has released the latest edition of its Reference monitor calibration software, which lets you calibrate your speakers and headphones for more accurate monitoring.

The main purpose of great sound translation is delivering the artist’s exact intent to the listener. SoundID Reference delivers consistently accurate studio reference sound across all speakers and headphones so you can mix with confidence and make music that sounds great everywhere.

SoundID Reference Works in all major DAWs as a plugin and as a standalone Systemwide app calibrating audio across your entire system. You can make custom adjustments to the target curve in real-time and manually select the frequency range to which the calibration will be applied.

You can select between different filter processing modes, zero latency for live tracking, mixed or linear phase delivering ultimate audio clarity. Also, you can access a library of 20 predefined simulations that will allow you to check the mix in different listening environments.

There are two editions available for SoundID Reference. The $99 edition only calibrates headphones. The $249 edition will calibrate both headphones and speakers. There is also a bundle that packages the software alongside a measurement microphone and a pair of Sennheiser HD 650 headphones for $699.
