Steve Bug brings his unique take on House to Berlin’s IPSE for his new night PLAY

Steve Bug presents PLAY
3rd December 2016

Since he began DJing in the early 90s, Steve Bug has seen it all: the far-flung corners of the world, legendary nightclubs, great DJs, bad DJs, hotels, sofabeds, planes, trains… you name it. Now it is time he brings it all together into an event he can call his own, PLAY.

Steve presents PLAY for the first time at IPSE Berlin on December 3, starting as he means to go on by inviting three friends ranging from established and acclaimed to fresh and exciting. The mighty Deetron , a long-time powerhouse in European electronic music and collaborator extraordinaire, is billed to rock the IPSE warehouse at peak time.

An equally exciting prospect is the duo of Brawther and Tristan Da Cunha, aka seasoned selectors Dungeon Meat , who bring r aw, meaty house tracks with plenty of groove and character. Rising Poker Flat and Dessous artist Langenberg will warm things up with up with the kind of lush, timeless house that Steve’s labels are known for. And, of course, the host himself will play, digging extra deep into his crates for the occasion. Expect an expertly curated night of house music and don’t be surprised if these friends have some special treats in-store.
