Stripped Recordings main man Norman H & Minoru Hirata’s original piece of work – “La Bufadora” gets two spanking new reinterpretations from two of the meanest producer acts of our current times. The label finishes off June in real style to say the least with this particular release!
The track gets a considerable Kastis Torrau & Arnas D lift up, as I zone in to the first of the two remixes. Unarguably two of the hottest producers and remixers around; they treat it with a steamy, charging center, awash with thick chord pulses. There’s a predatory bass, that rounds the middle up, yet there’s also a cosmic space for the tune to thrive with it’s own remix character. The gritty urban melodic line compliments the setting perfectly, with the throbbing atmospherics going straight in to a spacey break down, thereafter the dance quotient just gets high with this one.
Tackling the second remix is Lithuania’s finest – Phonic Scoupe, whose rework has barely restrained Deep House trimmings written all over it. There’s an impossibly thick layer of pounding bass kicks and secondary judders of drummy goodness, that settles down somewhere in between, only to drop one in to a vat of synthy funky pleasure with great efficiency all through to the end. While the previous remix gets you making proper shapes on the floor, the following makes you foot tap all day and night long.
