Sunday 20th November 2016
Sunday the 20th of November will see the Sub Club and Soma Records play host to a special one-off fundraiser for the #savefabric campaign. Fabric had their license revoked in a brutal and ill-considered move by Islington Council in August and fundraising to fight this decision in court has been ongoing since. This party will represent the last opportunity to raise additional cash for the campaign before the case comes to court on Friday 25th November.
“We’ve had a long relationship with Fabric having resided in Room 2 for some years now. The club had become like a second home to us. We’ve already seen one club close with The Arches in Glasgow last year and want to do everything we can to try to help Judy, Andy and the rest of the team overcome the closure.” – Slam
All profits from the event including bar proceeds will go to the campaign fund. We would urge everyone to give as much as they can afford and suggest a minimum donation of £10 on entry. Soma Record label heads Slam have also joined forces with Fabric London in a joint T-shirt design. All t-shirts are made from 100% organic cotton and come in black and white, fitted ladies t-shirts also available. Pre-Order yours today.
