Subcode was an idea born from a shared vision of its creators Marc Brommel & Simon Hardwick. Both Simon and Marc have been around the Underground Progressive House & Techno scene for many years and met whilst sharing a resident’s slot on a now-defunct radio station becoming good friends who wanted to offer something different in the world of underground online radio. Having experienced involvement with many other online radio stations they were both inspired by the need to create a safe free space for people to share their passion for the music they love. The station set a clear path for personal creativity with values built on the foundations of Equality, Diversity, and Inclusivity and inherent integrity for the music and all those associated with it.
Two years later with a following of thousands, Subcode is preparing for its 2nd birthday live event in London with headliner Lexicon Avenue, aka Chris Scott of Forensic Records head honcho and station resident DJ producer Enertia-Sound providing support along with the owners themselves.
Watch Chris Scott’s interview with Super Progressive below:
With its diverse lineup of resident DJs from across the globe with DJ producers alongside new fresh talents and partnerships with syndicated shows such as Krafted Underground, Paul Sawyer’s Textures After Hours from AH Digital Label, and Flemcy Music boss JP Lantieri the Subcode brand continues to grow the station now firmly a household name in Progressive House & Melodic Techno progressive Breaks circles. With further developments and future live events in the pipeline, there is much more to come, from the team and the station.
