Sydney’s Music For Change launches their first charity event

Music For Change, the Eora (Sydney) based record label run by Andrew Wowk and Jessica Tassone, is expanding into the event space to raise money for worthwhile causes while spotlighting artists they love. Each party will focus on a particular part of the music spectrum, raising funds for charities that address social issues that are important to the artists performing.

For their first event on March 11th at The Oxford Underground, they’ve invited some of their favourite local bass music selectors to join the Music For Change residents to soundtrack the night, with all profits from ticket sales going to The Dhadjowa Foundation (, who help advocate for families of victims of Indigenous deaths in custody.

Expect a night of garage, breakbeat, electro, jungle, footwork, and leftfield amalgamations of all the above.
