Let me just start off by saying, Wow! You are in for a serious treat with this album, an LP that delivers an array of sounds and musical pieces which really show the experience and genius of the native Manchester duo System 2.

From One End Of The Spectrum is a journey back into the wonderful electronic tone of the 1980’s with a fresh new feel which has, for me, reignited my fire for the electronic movement of that era. I could write an entire book on this LP there is such a massive demonstration of technical prowess on show, but I will start off with my absolute favourite from the album, ‘Dawn Of Time’.

System 2 have really captured their extensive knowledge in this track. My mind was blown when I finally got the chance to hear this masterpiece. The mesmeric mix of sonically rich synths incorporated with a luscious “Let’s Raise The Gate” vocal made quick work of grasping my attention. This really is something special.

The diversity of music on offer includes Hip-Hop influenced tracks such as ‘Bad Boy Beat’, an alluring collaboration with fantastic vocalist Harleigblu and of course, the electronic anthems like ‘Dawn Of Time’.

Skint Records are well renowned for bringing us records from superstars such as Fatboy Slim, X-Press 2 and Herve. We can now add to that impressive list this thrilling brand new album from System 2. A collection of artistic surprises, notable grooves and the engineered sounds of two real experts in their field.

If you are looking for something a little different, something that will make you go “wow”; something which does the job of gripping you tightly and taking you on an epic journey of musical discovery, then this album is most certainly for you!
