Progressive heavyweights Tilt and Silinder deliver an astounding EP on Pro-B-Tech

Artist: Tilt & Silinder feat. Natasha Cadman
Title: Black Hearts EP
Label: Pro-B-Tech Records
Release: 17th October 2016
Genre: Progressive House

Progressive heavyweights Tilt and Silinder are back on the super Pro-B-Tech Records this Autumn with a sublime pack titled ‘Black Hearts’. The release features the stunning vocals of Natasha Cadman, and contains some huge remixes from Jaap Ligthart, Acid Rockers & George Thompson, and a marvellous tribute to 90’s progressive from Silinder himself.

The original features the sound Tilt and Silinder have been famous for over the past 2 decades. The moving melodies, fun grooving rhythms and forward-thinking vibes are all present. The collaborative effort introduces us to the track with a cool reversed vocal, set off in the background to beef up the frequency range and fill the room with a grand ambience. The characterful progressions are rich and full of positive colour. The original really holds testament to the artists years of experience.

Jaap Ligthart drops in with an almighty swing on his two versions of ‘Black Hearts’, one being a dub version. Jaap has chopped up the seriously fat sounds of the original and stamped his own signature on top. The strings are powerful, the beat is thumping and the progressive build is of the highest order.

Acid Rockers & George Thompson have gifted us with something rather tasty. Their reverberated vocal chops align with the stars and the meteoric arpeggio swells around in the electronic current. Again, we have a vocal version and a dub version, so you will never run out of options given the situation… Fabulous work!

Silinder’s ‘Nod To The 90’s Mix’ feels more relaxed, whilst still filled with that nuclear energy we have felt throughout. The sounds of 90’s progressive is certainly in full tribute. The plucks, the progressions, the emotional content, everything is there!

Lovers of “true” progressive house will certainly be loving this pack and adding it to their playlists. Pro-B-Tech Records have once again proven why they are one the of UK’s premier house labels.
