VIVa MUSiC celebrates 10 years of fine house music with the first part of their three part Decadance series

Artist: Various
Title: 10 Years of Viva Music – Decadance Pt 1
Label: VIVa MUSiC
Release: Out Now!
Genre: Tech House

You can’t help but get excited when you see ‘VIVa MUSiC’ next to a release and for good reason! Steve Lawler’s label delivers yet again with another solid release, displaying the incredible talent Viva has to offer the electronic music world. With 10 years of releases behind them, we celebrate and look forward to the next 10.

Superstars Groove Armada show us what all the hype is about with a fresh sounding groover in ‘Free At Last’. They have certainly approached this with full creative freedom. A low end consisting of aggressive fast paced toms to energise the surrounding air. This track is a true masterclass in the use of percussive elements. Harvard Bass treat us to a trippy, late night tech thumper entitled, ‘Peep Game’. They have made great use of the stereo field whilst keeping them integral central parts grooving and pumping us along.

The definition of house music for some is Junior Sanchez. ‘Which Way To Go’ showcases influences going back decades. The whole vibe is great, proper house music at its absolute best. Huge low frequencies smothered in Earth shattering techno stabs and vast vocals really make us feel energised for the weekend ahead. Phil Weeks‘ ‘Come On Baby’ takes things into a tropical realm of excitement. The looping nature of the record sends us into our own hard coded, infinite loop of motion. Phil’s experience shines throughout, it is a track that will pack a dance floor in seconds with the hungry, shuffling shoes of passionate house groovers.

Once again, Viva delivers with some absolute corkers from the world’s electronic elite. Keep an eye out for this release, it is going to be major!
