Waterworks 2026 Reveals 2-Day Expansion

Londonโ€™s Waterworks Festivalย has revealed the full lineup for its sixth edition, alongside news that the festival will expand to two full days for the first time in 2026. Taking place atย Gunnersbury Parkย onย Saturday 12th and Sunday 13th September.

Festival co-founder and Love International boss Dave Harvey explains: โ€œWaterworks was started to put the focus on the underground artists at the heart of UK club culture, something we didnโ€™t see happening at that time, or at least not in the way we had envisaged it. It was really to try and make it less headliner driven and try to create some more intimate spaces. Now in our sixth year weโ€™re proud to have been able to grow alongside and continue to support a scene thatโ€™s going from strength to strength.โ€

Following last yearโ€™s fifth anniversary celebrations, the festival now expands across two full days, allowing sets to stretch, soundsystems to shine, and the festivalโ€™s carefully considered programming to fully breathe. Across five stages and 83 sets, shows and b2bs, Waterworks 2026 continues to champion the progressive edges of house, techno, bass, breaks, and club music, presenting an experience that feels cohesive, human, and deeply rooted in contemporary UK dance culture.

Festival booker and co-founder Simon Denby: โ€œBy expanding to two days, we have been excited to dig deeper and go further into the incredible breadth of talent that makes up Londonโ€™s sonic palette. It is a joy to plumb the depths of these ever-changing scenes and shine a light on some of the formidable artists we love – from the originators to those instigating the next steps in the journey. Waterworks has always been a love letter to Londonโ€™s multi-faceted underground, and we are excited to start the next chapter.โ€

Saturday brings together an inspiring mix of close collaborators, long-time favourites and forward-thinking artists. Highlights includeย Bradley Zero b2b Erol Alkan,ย Christian AB b2b Craig Richards,ย Eris Drew,ย Midland,ย Modeselektor,ย Leon Vynehall,ย Raresh b2b Sonja Moonear,ย Skee Mask b2b OK Williams, alongside live performances fromย Octo Octa,ย Decius,ย Alex Kassian, andย Reptant. Itโ€™s a day that reflects Waterworksโ€™ belief in quality over hype, led by programming that rewards curiosity.

Sunday sees Waterworks collaborate with carefully chosen stage partners, each deeply embedded in the culture they represent. Curated in collaboration withย Outlook Festival,ย DaMetalMessiah,ย Keep Hush,ย ec2a, andย Rupture, the Sunday programme shines a light on the histories, communities, and sounds that have shaped UK club and soundsystem culture from the ground up.ย

Across the day, artists includingย LTJ Bukem,ย Djrum,ย DJ Storm,ย Ruff Sqwad,ย Tim Reaper, andย Sully b2b Special Requestย sit alongside new school voices and cross-genre link-ups from the likes ofย Oppidan,ย Call Super b2b Objekt,ย Ross From Friends,ย Darwin, andย DJ Fuckoff.ย These partnerships sit at the heart of what Waterworks does best – spotlighting not just artists, but the ecosystems, histories, and shared values behind them.

The programming across both days reinforces Waterworksโ€™ sense of continuity and its close ties with kindred festivals and scenes across Europe. Longstanding creative connections – including with Love International – continue to shape the festivalโ€™s outlook, grounding its international relationships in a shared approach to curation and community.

Attention to sound and production remains central to the Waterworks experience, with careful investment in audio, staging, and layout ensuring each space feels purposeful and immersive. The result is a festival that values atmosphere and connection, inviting audiences to properly settle into the music across a full weekend.
