The next installment in the ever developing chapter of Liverpool venue The Garage will see them welcome in two titans of the mix compilation come together, as Hernan Cattaneo and Nick Warren go head to head in aid of the former’s Balance 026 mix compilation, released in the UK on Monday 13th October.
As two of the most reverential selectors on the planet, both Cattaneo and Warren can justify their status as true masters of the art form of playing music. Both of them can boast of a cavernous huge musical arsenal that makes them both capable of delivering wide ranging musical journeys over prolonged periods of time – perfect for this special event where they’ll be playing back to back for a whopping five hours.
Cattaneo’s Balance 026 sees him take the helm of the hugely respected Australian mix series, following on from the likes of James Holden, Radio Slave and the man who most recently missed it, Danny Tengalia. It’s one of only a handful of regular compilations in the modern era that live up to the huge legacy the format has produced over the years, feted amongst the music press around the globe.
