Following an incredible year for Yousef, celebrates Circus Recordings milestone 150th release with Save The Night’ ft. Shania. Circus Recordings has grown across 150 releases from a ‘DJ’ label to an iconic powerhouse of the underground scene, with records holding a place in every house, techno and tech house DJ’s repertoire over the last decade. In the process releasing some of the most significant club music, such as Hot Since 82’s Green Velvet ‘Bigger Than Prince’ remix, Krankbrother’s ‘Circular Thing’, Harry Romero’s ‘The Butcher’, Scuba’s ‘Too Strong’ and Carl Cox’s Time For Music’ amongst many more. In addition, Yousef has also used the label as an outlet for his own music, utilising the space to be free from the restraints of other labels dictating his movements, very much a strong analogy for the way he has approached his career in the electronic music industry.
The latest milestone of 150 releases is no different, as he continues to impose his own set of rules pushing forward music that has makes him feel good, is colourful, will be remembered in 20 years and is overall sonically excellent. Save The Night Hits all the above points and encompasses the whole of Circus’ catalogue into one release. Featuring the vocals of talented singer Shania, who has been heavily supported through BBC Radio 1’s Introducing platform, the track is aimed firmly at the dancefloor of the worlds best clubs and festivals, with early support from artists such as Joseph Capriati, Nic Fanciulli, Eli & Fur and more Yousef as an artist has built an unfathomable following over his time in the industry, but 2021 has been one of most active to date which has seen his Circus brand host the UK’s first post-pandemic
