Youth Music is today announcing that Round Six of the Youth Music NextGen Fund will be open for applications from Friday 21st April until Friday 19th May.
The fund is for early-stage musicians and wider music adjacent creatives, with successful applicants granted up to £2,500 for their own projects and to make their ideas happen.
The Youth Music NextGen Fund
Youth Music launched the NextGen Fund in 2021 to equalise access to the music industries. So far, 172 early-stage musicians and music industry creatives aged 18-25 (and up to 30 years old for people identifying as Disabled) have benefitted with up to £2,500 to launch a project, idea or business. The fund is especially aimed at those whose lack of finance holds them back from pursuing their goals.
All information about applying, including tips and advice, can be found on the Youth Music website. The fund is not limited to performers, but also open to producers, A&Rs, managers and agents, plus roles in the music industry that may not yet have been defined.
