Bicep to curate the Hydra at Drumsheds

A long-term institution in London’s rich club culture, The Hydra has been a pivotal force in shaping London’s underground landscape in the 11+ years since its inception. From cutting their teeth in imaginative and obscure warehouse spaces to selling out 5,000+ capacity Printworks, The Hydra now take on their most ambitious and visionary outing to date with long-term affiliates – BICEP. Taking over DRUMSHEDS’ three impressive spaces – X ROOM, Y ROOM, Z ROOM, The Hydra and BICEP will curate a bill of the highest quality movers in the underground world, plus BICEP present their CHROMA A/V DJ. Complimented by the heavy-hitting production, lights, and AV, this show will be an unmissable event for electronic music aficionados. Tickets are available via resale, here.

As always, Hydra will be one for the heads. An elite selection of live acts, DJs and producers spanning a host of left-leaning genres from mind-bending techno to angular bass and breaks are set, including Daphni, Clark, SHERELLE, Marcel Dettmann, Kelly Lee Owens, Sicaria, Special Request and so many more. For their biggest edition to date, it’s no-holds-barred for this unique version of The Hydra as they unite some of the most dynamic artists in experimental and underground music to play across DRUMSHED’s industrial backdrop.

Continuing their long-term relationship with Broadwick Live, BICEP has been an important part of the musical identity of the team’s vision. From playing the final set at Printworks’ closing party as unannounced special guests, they closed the final set with an edit of Sully’s 5ives. An iconic moment in the history of London music, BICEP will continue the story as they invite experimental UK bass producer Sully to play as part of this show.

Set across DRUMSHEDS’ three monumental spaces – X ROOM, Y ROOM, Z ROOM, and complimented by ground-breaking production by UVA artists, The Hydra X BICEP will be an audio-visual experience of the finest degree. By mixing striking lights, and captivating visuals and experimenting with the versatility of the industrial space, this show immerses guests in an unparalleled, unforgettable experience.
