With 100,000 tickets sold and a complete sell-out Saturday & Sunday, Torinoโs Parco Doro was truly the place to be, with over 118 different nations present to sample the best the electronic scene has to offer in its biggest production yet, with 105 different DJs & artists performing across 5 separate stages.
The international crowd basked in stunning 30-degree temperatures to party alongside dance musicโs most influential icons includingย Major Lazer,ย Detroit masterย Carl Craig, Diploย B2B withย Maceo Plex,ย supergroupย Swedish House Mafiaย with their only Italian date this summer, the unstoppableย Peggy Gouย bringing down the house on Saturday night,ย The Martinez Brothers, plussuperstar DJs likeย Fatboy Slim,ย Sashaย andย John Digweedย andย Carl Cox, who for the first time hosted his own stage withย Carl Cox Invitesย โ plus so many more, full line up below.
Speaking of stages, KFF marked its 10thย birthday by launching two new ones โย The Voyagerย andย The Kosmoย โ making a total of five different stages to spoil its attendees, the latter being a new project that blends the world of art, music and technology by artistย Marinella Senatore. This came alongside a carefully curated on-site exhibition that welcomed an array of digital artists to spotlight their work, made in partnership withย Blackdove,ย known for theirย commitment to bridging the gap between the art world and technology. There was also an army of renowned photographers shooting on site and documenting the weekend includingย Oliviero Toscani, Massimo Vitali, Settimio Benedussiย and many more.




















We also saw the return of the VIP experience โย Art & Technoย โ that fully embraces Torinoโs huge art scene. The package made forย the ultimate weekend of luxury for art and techno lovers, with first class VIP treatment at the festival, and private guided tours of the cityโs best art galleries, studios and museums.
For those that were eager to keep the party going, a selection of sold-out after parties atย Audiodrome,ย Azimut Club, SLIPย andย Centralinoย carried them through each night, with late night sets fromย Krystal Klear, Carlita + DJ Tennis, Lee Ann Roberts, Detroit in Effect,ย Cloonee, Seth Troxler, Carl Craig, Nur Jaber, Vladimir Ivkovic, Traxx, Vintage Culture, Dennis Cruz, Danny Tenagliaย andย Chris Liebing.ย And even a surprise set fromย Carl Coxย at Centralino on Sunday evening.
The festival continued their hugely successfulย Cashless Programย on site and positively drove the economical impact on the city of Torino, generating an impressiveย 25 million Eurosย over the weekend.ย Asย Kappa FuturFestivalย continues to reign as the biggest electronic music festival in Italy, and one of the biggest in Europe, it looks forward to bringing even more people together in the beautiful setting of the post-industrial Parco Dora next Summer, with next yearโs edition confirmed for July 5,6 and 7th.
