Its nice to see artists that know what the true meaning of Progressive house is and come back to their roots. This E.P is a perfect example. Deep House on occasions does sound like, and is the new progressive house.

Hailing from Greece Niko Z has hit that nail on the head. You have 3 mixes on the E.P all at the same level in quality of production. The Original with its warm bass and crunchy percussion keeps you moving along nicely. The vocal I wont say so much about. Its a matter of choice.

Personally I don’t think this track needs one or perhaps a better one, which brings me on to the instrumental.

The Instrumental is brilliant, the chords and pads are lush. Only down side is they do slow the track down. The track isn’t by any means a peak time monster, all though it is beautiful. Im sure it will work perfectly in a warm up or somewhere in a closing set.

The 3rd mix is by Progressive legend Hernan Cattaneo and Sound Exile. They have slightly stripped the vocal down. Given it a more straight forward but heavier kick and snare, plus they have put in a lovely melodic arpeggio which completely drives the track along. Just when you think they cant do more they layer the top end with some lovely highs and even at 5 minutes into the track they change the base and bring in some extra keys. They have certainly used a winning formula here.
