Beachcoma release Above by Max Dahlhaus

Artist: Max Dahlhaus
Title: Above
Label: Beachcoma
Catalogue Number: Beach039
Release Date: Out Now!
Genre: Techno

Beachcoma welcome Max Dahlhaus to the label in his new guise, as he has decided to drop the name many of us may be familiar with, Max Farlane. With a number of great releases on labels such as Crossfrontier Audio, and Inlab Recordings I expect a very good year from this man.

The opening track “Above” is most definitely a sound that is very much what we have become accustomed to from his days as Max Farlane. The track is a synth label trippy affair that is beautiful journey music. It is certainly one of those tracks where you should be reaching for the bright lights and celebrating life. A great way to open any release!

The next track on the release is “Zwoelf” which is a bass laden number that is described by the Beachcoma family as “KrautMitHoden, mixing Bittersüß synths with a very Männlichkeitswahn bass-line”. I am not sure what that means but if it means superbly produced, synth laden, epic monster I am inclined to agree. More of the same please Max! Love the German counting vocals during the break too!

Another very solid release form the Beachcoma base. I love where these guys are heading, and with Sid Le Rock and Fairmont at the helm it can only mean positive things. Hats off to you all! Danke!
