It is always a pleasure for me when a Beachcoma promos lands in the inbox, and I was even more excited when I found this time it was from their A&R man, Sid Le Rock. This man’s last full release on the label was back in 2013 with the rather stunning “Lake Superior” which was a big success!

First up on the release is the track “Mount Hope” which begins its journey with some stunning ethereal atmospheric sounds before we are soon transported into a rather delightful kick, and some wonderfully effected hi hats. Sid does pul out his classic staccato synths which I always feel are a pure joy, and fill the track with an almost funky depth and warmth. The track quickly builds, and without you really realising! Stunning work from the Beachcoma man here, and a delightful track that would be a delight in any DJ’s set!

The second track is the beautiful “Aurora Nights” which really is what I like to refer to as a piece of journey music. This is right up there with some of the best hypnotic music around, and really is a testament to this guys ability in a studio. The kick is almost clipped so it isn’t too potent, and the melody and bassline used just wrap the track in an incredible blanket of beauty and wonderment. If you love your melodic journeys you need to own this piece of music. Simply divine!

Again Beachcoma provide two slabs of delightful music for your ears. This label is as consistent as the German rail network. It delivers to the highest level and has a good array of new and seasoned artists in its repertoire. My advice is to buy this and BUY IT NOW!
