Review by Ian French

The Selador label continues here with a release of remixes. This will be the twelfth release on the label and sees this track return for the second time. Some of you may remember the original on the label’s ADE collection, which was released late last year. The original track got such a good response from artists like Sasha, Hernan Catteneo, AFFKT, Nic Fanciulli and Jimmy Van M, Selador thought it best to do the right thing and release this gem with some tasty remixes.

First up we have a version of the original track in the form of a dub, which I do prefer to the full original. The stuttered dubby vocals and relentless growly baseline just make you want to move. I could just imagine this track in a dark room filled with “heads down” clubbers. Love it!

For the remixes on this release we have the ever superb Wehbba and the irrepressible Him_Self_Her.

Brazilian producer Wehbba delivers a techno workout sure to please his ever growing legion of fans. It’s a full on techno workout from the off and he uses the dubby vocals to full effect, alongside his own stabs and percussion. If you are a fan of this man’s work you will love this. Full-on peak time techno grooves.

The next and final remix of the release is by UK production team Him_Self_Her and they close the package by continuing their current rich vein of form. Deep grooves throughout and some great chords. Just don’t get me started on that baseline!!! Nice! Already picking up plays by the likes of John Digweed, Hernan Catteno and Dave Seaman you know what to expect here.

Another solid release from Mr Parry and Mr Seaman’s label that you must own if you like it deep, dark and a little moody.
