Madrid based producer, Luis Junior has certainly created waves in the electronic music scene over the past couple of years with releases on labels like Bedrock, microCastle, Vapour Recordings, Sound Avenue, and Sudbeat, as well as his own Mooseekaa imprint. He has also remixed for some big names in the industry such as Guy J, Stelios Vassiloudis, Chris Fortier, Darin Epsilon and Cid Inc so you know what to expect from this man, very well produced progressive and techno music. His latest release โKarma Calling EPโ is no exception to that rule whatsoever!
First up on the EP we have the title track, โKarma Callingโ. There really is no other way to describe this track other than warm peak time progressive music. This track really does hit the ground running with a rumbling bassline and some nice warm pads. The track is filled with kisses of warm melodic keys that draw you into the track but the track is always nailed to the dance floor with that bassline that is just superb. The track never gets ahead of itself and isnโt too hard and even the break isnโt too overstated. If you like you Guy Mantzur, Guy J, and John Digweed prog you are going to love this, trust me.
Next up we have โEverything Is Possibleโ which is a little more subtle than the title track and not quite as โheads downโ. The track has more of a groove with an almost funky like bassline. As you would expect the track has more warm pads and well presented percussion, and is perfect for this early to mid-night progressive sets.
This is a very strong release and it is on one of my favourite labels at present. Paul keeps delivering the gems on Manual Music. Go take a listen to this folks you will like, I assure you!
